So as we all know, Jake was recently dropped off at the MTC. Here are some pictures taken just beofre he left for Provo.
He entered the MTC on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, and he's headed to Long Beach, CA. Mom, Dad, and I took him up to the curbside of 18M (a building at the MTC), kicked him out of the car and drove off. Not really, but pretty much. That's how they roll nowadays at the MTC. The missionaries are dropped off at the curb, take a few quick pictures with their family, and then they're escorted away with a "host" (a missionary that's stayed for a majority of their time already).

ReplyDeleteWe got a call from the MTC this morning saying Jake was taken to the EE clinic. He is having trouble with his throat swelling when he eats certain foods. Problem is- we don't know which foods. Do any of you other siblings get this symptom with any foods? It could be helpful to know.Please call me if you do! I'm waiting on a phone call from Maria(?) to give me an update. Dad took the call this morning, and I haven't talked to anyone. I'll let you know when I get any info- keep him in your prayers. Hopefully, they can figure it out in Provo- so he won't have to be sent home!
